My week in Taiwan: Meeting Austin, Evelyn and Audrey

I had the treat of visiting Taiwan last month to celebrate my grandmother's 80th birthday with her and visit my extended family. In addition to getting to celebrate such a significant birthday with my grandmother, see family I haven't seen since our wedding, and be in a country so dear to my heart, my trip to Taiwan was also the first time I got to meet my new nieces and nephew! Here are some sweet moments of each of them with their new parents :)

It was amazing to see how much life buzzes throughout my grandmother's house with the three babies there now (two of my cousins and their families live with my grandmother) and such a joy to see my grandmother turn 80 with such vibrancy and activity surrounding her. One afternoon I witnessed her making silly faces and doing an airplane dance for one of her great grandchildren to try to get him to eat. I can't remember the last time I saw so much life in her :) My mother used to worry about her getting lonely during the day while everyone was out at work. Now that these little cuties are around, I think she'll have her hands full! It feels like she's turning younger and younger, not older! Praise God for such joys :)
